2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) security plays a very important role in minimizing the risks of fraud, information and asset theft. The following article will guide you on how to activate 2FA security on CoinSavi.

Why should you activate 2FA security?

2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) security is a secure authentication method used to protect your online accounts. It requires users to provide two different authentication factors to ensure higher security when logging into the account. These factors include:

First factor - What you know: This is information that only you know. Usually your password, this is an aspect of knowledge-based security.

Second factor - What you have: This is a factor that you have in hand or have access to. The most common is an authentication code sent to your mobile phone or a physical authentication device as a security token.

When you combine both of these factors, you create a stronger layer of security. This means that users not only have to provide a password (which they know), but also have an authentication device or authentication code (which they have) in hand to access the account. If one of these two factors is leaked or stolen, the account will still be protected by the other factor.

2FA is an important security measure to prevent unauthorized access to online accounts and increase the security of the online services and applications you use.
